HUB will participate in the presentation of the Mobility Report 2019 at the national conference of AIPARK and ASSTRA, next May 16 in Rome.
The two associations AIPARK and ASSTRA represent the operators who manage the services related to about 73% of daily travel - parking of private vehicles and local public transport; AIPARK members manage in fact over 650,000 parking spaces charged throughout the country, a significant figure especially in light of their successes in Europe (European Parking Awards) in recognition of the level of expertise in the Italian sector. In collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Rome - La Sapienza and Isfort, AIPARK and ASSTRA are addressing the issue of mobility, to highlight possible actions to remodel the modal split towards more sustainable modes, with the aim of restoring the livability and competitiveness of urban centers.
The 2019 Mobility Report that will be presented at the Centro Congressi Roma Eventi starts from an integrated analysis of socio-economic data, urban mobility and parking management, having created three macro groups of Italian cities, divided by number of inhabitants, and investigates the correlation between the management of parking fees and the different components of the urban mobility system. This is the first time that such an approach has been addressed in Italy, combining parking management data with mobility data.
HUB participates in the conference as an associate of AIPARK and the ideal partner for municipalities ready to adopt the integrated management of parking as a strategic tool for innovation with respect to the urban mobility system. From the largest metropolitan cities to small urban centres, the planned transition from "old mobility" to "new mobility" requires state-of-the-art parking systems, supported by flexible and open infrastructures: integrated, modular and easily customisable solutions such as Jupiter, the new HUB product line designed to meet the increasingly digital challenges of parking management operators.
To an Italian mobility system still unbalanced towards the private sector (and its inevitable negative consequences on pollution, environment, territory, economy and society) the experience of HUB responds with innovative solutions and model projects throughout the territory: success stories, flexibility, exceptional attention to the customer like these.
To meet our people in the field, the appointment is at the AIPARK and ASSTRA Conference: 10.00 am at the Centro Congressi Roma Eventi - Piazza di Spagna in via Alibert, 5a.
