For the third year in a row, FAAC Technologies has supported the Bologna edition of the Race for the Cure with a donation and a crowded team composed of HUB Parking, Faac Simply Automatic, and FAAC Technologies colleagues.
The Race for the Cure is the flagship event of Komen Italia, the largest initiative in the fight against breast cancer in Italy and around the world, now entering its 23rd edition.
Thanks to the funds raised through the Race for the Cure, Komen Italia:
- carries out initiatives to support women who are facing breast cancer
- activates scholarships for young researchers
- strengthens collaborations with other associations active in the same charity segment in Italy
- organizes free prevention days aimed at women in socially fragile conditions, with the Caravan of Prevention.
Over the past 23 years, the Race for the Cure has managed to raise awareness and funding to support more than 1,500 new research, prevention, and support projects for women experiencing breast cancer throughout Italy. We are glad to support Komen Italia in promoting a healthier and mindful lifestyle: we walk the walk!
