Limiting abusive parking in a truckstop zone?
For the past few months, our team has been solving a common problem for #truckstops: the abusive parking of non-consuming trucks in the roadside zone.
Here's how we carried out this project for EGG Group France in Roye (80) with our partner #E2A:
- Creation of an island for heavy goods vehicles: equipped with ultrasonic sensors to detect and safely accommodate heavy goods vehicles.
- License plate reading (LPR): enables smooth, automated management of the flow of HGVs, as well as unique identification for traceability purposes.
- Convenient, secure payment: easy payment by NFC and credit card at the parking lot exit.
- JMS software integration: efficient data centralization and analysis for optimal parking lot management.
- QR-Code for optimum traceability: on entering the parking lot, customers receive a ticket with a QR-Code, enabling them to see whether they have spent any money in the various stores in the area.
- Intercom: outside opening hours, an intercom is sent to a remote management center, guaranteeing autonomy and profitability!
