At a healthcare facility, the parking experience is part of the patient journey. At Oxford Polyclinic in Cannes, France, parking had become increasingly challenging as a limited number of spaces struggled to meet demand from patients, doctors, employees, and visitors.
With 90 spaces available across three levels, the Polyclinic set out to create a more controlled parking environment, improve traffic flow, and introduce a new approach to managing its parking facility.
HUB Parking Technology France, together with FAAC-certified center Azur Domotic, designed a ticketless parking solution with Jupiter hardware and JMS management system, based on License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology enabling automatic vehicle identification at entry and exit. Dynamic VMS signs also add another layer of guidance, giving drivers real-time information on parking availability as they approach the facility – with the much needed, immediate effect of minimize stress related to arrival and space-finding.
Behind the access and payment experience, JMS brings parking operations together in one centralized management platform, giving the Polyclinic greater visibility over its facility and the information needed to manage day-to-day operations.
The result is a parking solution designed around the rhythm of a busy healthcare environment, offering a simplified experience to everyone using the facility while giving the staff full control of parking operations. And the project is already looking ahead, with further developments planned to introduce dedicated parking areas for doctors and additional guidance within the facility.
