Adam also provides insight into the parking market in Poland, which is still developing. “The parking market in Poland is relatively young. Many businesses have car parks, but they don’t charge customers yet, often because they don’t realize how much revenue they could generate. That creates a big opportunity for companies like ours to help them see the potential.”

When it comes to the technology most in demand, Adam notes that integration is key. “Clients often ask if we can integrate parking systems with their mobile apps, especially for shopping centers where loyalty cards are involved. We also get requests from hospitals and hotels to integrate parking systems with access control systems.”

Proudly introducing a project: Technical University of Łódź
Adam recalls a project he is particularly proud of – the implementation at the Technical University of Łódź. “It was a complex project involving three separate sites across the city. Each day, around 2,000 students, along with hundreds of teachers, use the parking facilities.”
What made this project stand out was the integration with the university’s existing database and student application. “The university already had an app that students used to pay for tuition fees. We integrated parking payments into this app and allowed users to input their license plate numbers, streamlining the whole process. We also developed a custom mobile solution for this site, so users can pay for parking directly through a web-based interface without needing to download any additional apps. All they have to do is scan a QR code on their parking ticket.”
This solution made the parking experience faster and more convenient for the university’s community.
Seamless execution: City Authority of Warsaw project
Adam is also proud of the exceptional after-sales and service support Prestige Systems provided for a project with the City Authority of Warsaw. “We were tasked with replacing outdated parking systems across multiple locations, but the customer needed us to minimize downtime to avoid revenue loss. We came up with a solution where both the old and new systems worked simultaneously, allowing the customer to test our system while keeping their existing one operational. Once they were confident with our system, we completed the switch in just a matter of minutes.”
Another unique aspect of the project involved the installation of five variable message signs (VMS) throughout the city, a task complicated by the lack of network infrastructure and power sources. “We had to use mobile routers for communication and special battery systems that charged from the streetlights, ensuring the VMS would stay powered during the day.”
