We Are Thrilled to Announce a Global Framework Agreement with Merlin Entertainments.
Parking can leave a lasting impression for a guest visiting a Merlin Resort, it’s the beginning and very end of a guest’s experience.
The investment in new parking technology will add to the guest experience giving them a smooth, efficient and effortless experience when visiting. Guests will be able to download an App onto their smartphone and pay via their phone for ease. The system will also offer online booking facilities. Prepaid visitors will be able to access parking facilities via ANPR giving smooth access and exit from the car park. Premium Pass holders will be able to use their passes to access the car parks. The exit stations will also even offer card payment facilities.
The roll out will begin with Thorpe Park Resort in March 2020 and then continue overseas.
HUB Parking Technology were selected as a parking partner after a meticulous tender process due to our innovation and integration capabilities. “Great relations have already been built with Mary Coriano (Project Lead at Merlin Entertainments) and her team over the past few months” states Ray Hodgson, HUB Sales Director.
This agreement will see the roll out of HUB Parking equipment – specifically the new Jupiter range along with the technology leading JMS software being rolled out to the Merlin attractions worldwide. These improvements will allow for a more comprehensive car park management process and integration with 3rd party systems enabling the Merlin team and guests to get the best from the parking facilities.
"Working with Merlin Entertainments over last several months has been incredibly rewarding, from working with their very engaging procurement and project teams through to the operations team on the ground. Merlin have a very clear vision on how they want to use technology to enhance the overall guest experience at all of their parks and locations. I am excited that they have chosen HUB UK to deliver on this vision and our team are ready to launch our first site in the coming months before we start expanding on this partnership". – Lee Burton, Managing Director at HUB Parking Technology UK.
