HUB Parking Technology Australia and TPS Traffic and Parking Systems have strengthened their long-standing collaboration with the delivery of two modern retail parking projects in Queensland: Yeerongpilly Green and Capestone Village. Together, they have implemented reliable, digital parking solutions that support efficient operations and contribute to improved customer experience.
Both retail sites are located near major public transport links and share the challenge of keeping parking spaces available for genuine retail visitors rather than commuters. As a result, each required a system capable of managing short-term parking, maintaining bay turnover, and ensuring fair access for shoppers.
At Yeerongpilly Green, the existing hybrid system was upgraded to a fully ticketless configuration powered by integrated License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. The camera-based system automatically identifies vehicles at entry and exit, eliminating paper tickets and reducing consumable costs. The shift to a paperless, camera-based solution simplifies daily management and delivers a smoother, more intuitive parking experience for short-term visitors.
At Capestone Village, the newly developed retail precinct required a reliable and modern parking system to prevent unauthorized commuters parking and ensure fair access for shoppers. The digital workflow implemented onsite supports efficient turnover and ensures visitors benefit from a smooth, convenient parking experience.
Together, these projects demonstrate how digitalized parking management elevates mobility, user satisfaction, and operational control within modern retail environments. Read here the full case study!
