Faac S.p.A is the legal entity of our mother company, located in Zola Predosa, Italy: the same site of HUB Parking and FAAC headquarters.
FAAC HQ has re-obtained the Authorized Economic Operator authorization (AEOF for customs simplifications, security and safety) with Authorization n. IT AEOF 22 1922.
The AEO status has been granted to Access Solutions and HUB Parking BU by the Italian Customs Agency as a result of a special audit, aimed at verifying its compliance with customs and tax legislation, the management of commercial and transport records and the appropriate safety standards.
It is an important authorization recognizing FAAC S.p.A. as an eligible economic operator in terms of reliability and security in the international supply chain.
Here below some of the advantages of AEO certification:
- Faster export procedures: Customs clearance of the goods directly and at our own premises
- Reduction of customs and security controls
- Increased monitoring of incoming and outgoing goods
- Risk mitigation to avoid civil and criminal sanctions
- Mutual recognition of AEO certification (please refer to the official AEO Compendium 2020 Edition) and consequently reduction of customs controls at the destination countries served by FAAC HQ.
Based on the information provided by WCO Members for 2020, the AEO Compendium identifies:
- 97 operational AEO programmes in the world and 20 AEO programmes under development
- 33 operational Customs Compliance programmes and 4 Customs Compliance programmes due to be launched
- 87 bi-lateral and 4 plurilateral/regional Mutual Recognition Agreements concluded and 78 Mutual Recognition Agreements under negotiation around the world.
